JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Promoting 3bl in different potential Woredas and towns in the region, meeting the responsible officials, and getting potential projects.

  • Coordinating challenging and bureaucratic tasks with government officials includes but is not limited to issues like transformers and others.

  • Lead different community meetings about their participation in the project.

  • Coordinating and managing the construction team at each project site.

  • Communicate with the responsible officials and get potential projects.

  • Working to create and increase the acceptance of the 3BL's technology.

  • Train and support the franchise and the construction team.

  • Follow up on every activity of different projects.

  • Help in facility management of completed projects. These include but are not limited to facilitating monthly revenue collection and coordinating the monthly water meter reading.

  • Manage and facilitate any outsourcing options for construction-related services and recruit potential service providers for such services.

  • Help in approving subcontract works quality and payment process.

  • Risk assessment and potential danger alerting of the head office with regard to the project’s current status and the political environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree in any water-related field of study.

  • Experience in water sector project administration.

  • 5+ years of management and leadership experience in any government office position.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
