JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Tech Intern  to join our team and contribute to our innovative projects. As a Senior Tech Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful assignments and gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. Your primary responsibility will be to complete the charts on both Flowius Dashboard apps, utilizing your full-stack development skills. This internship is a paid position, and you will work under the guidance and mentorship of our Tech Lead.

JOB SUMMARY:

1. Chart Completion on Flowius Dashboard Apps

   • Collaborate with the development team to understand the requirements and specifications for the charts on the Flowius Dashboard app

   • Utilize your full-stack development skills to implement and finalize the charts, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and an intuitive user experience

   • Test and debug the charts to identify and resolve any issues or bugs

2.  Full Stack Development

   • Apply your knowledge and skills as a full-stack developer to contribute to various aspects of the development process, including frontend and backend tasks

   • Work with technologies and frameworks within the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack to build and enhance the Flowius Dashboard apps

   • Collaborate with the tech team to integrate the charts seamlessly into the existing applications

3. Collaboration with Head of Tech

   • Work closely with the Tech Lead to align your work with the overall project goals and objectives

   • Seek guidance and feedback from the Tech Lead to improve your technical skills and contribute effectively to the team

   • Participate in regular meetings and discussions to update the Tech Lead on progress, challenges, and potential solutions

4. Documentation and Reporting

   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the work performed, including code documentation and project progress reports

   •  Report any issues or challenges encountered during the development process and propose possible solutions

SPECIFICATIONS:

The minimum required professional skills for the job holder to perform successfully in their position include

• Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Currently enrolled as a senior undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• Solid understanding of full-stack development principles and familiarity with the MERN stack

• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js

• Familiarity with backend technologies including Node.js and Express.js

• Experience with Firebase, including Firestore and Firebase Authentication, is a plus

SKILLS:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must be eligible for a paid internship
