We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Tech Lead to join our dynamic and innovative team. As the Tech Lead, you will play a pivotal role in leading our tech team, driving technological advancements, and ensuring the successful execution of our projects. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will be essential in shaping the future of our company.
JOB SUMMARY:
Lead and Mentor the Tech Team
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to a team of three talented individuals
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development
Delegate tasks, set goals, and monitor team performance to ensure efficient project execution
Tech Stack Selection
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and frameworks to meet the company's needs and goals
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements to make informed decisions regarding the tech stack
Collaborate with other stakeholders, such as the CEO and other team leads, to align the tech stack with overall business objectives
Code Audit and Quality Assurance
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards, best practices, and maintainable code quality
Identify potential issues, bugs, or vulnerabilities and provide actionable feedback and suggestions for improvement
Implement and enforce coding guidelines and best practices across the team
Collaboration and Planning
Working closely with the CEO and other team leads to understand the company's vision and goals
Participate in strategic planning sessions to determine how the tech team can support and contribute to the company's objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables
Strategic Planning and Execution
Develop and implement technology strategies and roadmaps that align with the company's long-term goals
Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the tech team through the adoption of new technologies, tools, and methodologies
Anticipate potential roadblocks or challenges and proactively plan mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution
SPECIFICATIONS:
The minimum required professional skills for the job holder to perform successfully in their position include
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
Proven experience as a Tech Lead or similar leadership role
Strong knowledge and expertise in a wide range of technologies and programming languages
Proficient in code review practices, software testing methodologies, and quality assurance
Fluency in English and Amharic, other languages are a plus
